Rainy days

No climbing yesterday, althought I was looking forward so much.
At least I went to nice slideshow of a climber who spent six months in Southern America.

And it looks like no climbing tomorrow... Althought I am going to a climbing place.
Well... no routes for a newbie like me...

Two days in Guia

Yesterday and today I went to Escola Escalada da Guia with climber Kimie I met on sunday and with her students. Well... went is probably not the best word to describe it. I stopped by.

Although, I managed to climb one III route barefooted (oh silly me... ;) and toprope a IV+.
I fell a bit, so now I finally know what it is like.

Soooo tired... more info later, uhm?

=)

P.S. And there are some pictures in the gallery also... but as it was rainy all day, nothing special.

The Day III

Yesterday was my great day three ;)
Of course I am writing that because I went climbing again.

Rainy morning turn out to be another splendid day in Serra da Arrabida.
We went to Fenda, where I climbed three nice routes, and tried a bit more hard one in the end... all toprope, of course, I am a coward person, am I not? ;)
The first one I climbed was probably Quinto pirata. I am just guessing, but as it was pretty nice and this one is supposed to be the III+ difficulty... so it looks like a match.

The one I went to try then might had been Jardim da Celeste V+. My first overhanging route. Luckily, I was toprope, so I could had a rest few times... and in the end, I made it to the top!

My third one was called Abre as pernas e avia-te. I am pretty shure about the name, because it made others laugh a lot when they were translating it like "stretch-out your legs and do it". It was kind of high, but very nice. Although difficult (V+), I somehow managed. Happy me!

Well and then we went to the last sector, called Rampa, full of difficult routes. I was crying for an easy one so much, that Miguel put some expresses to one route... it looks like, it was called Bad boy, but other climbers kept telling me, that the name is something like "Nice girls don't climb". Well, that can make me feel good, as I might be a nice girl: although it was supposed to be "just" 6b+, I did not get not even to the half. But I tried... take a look:

...more pictures will be in my gallery later on.

By the way, if you want to search for Fenda on internet, try searchin also for Portinho da ArrĂ¡bida. And try also Crocodilos... looks like only local climbers call that beautifull sector Rampa.

Have to start

So many things started to happen so far from my family and friends...
...and this seems to be a nice way of letting them know.

I just need to start, don't I?
