It looks like I do not have much time to put news here since the beginning of July :(
But I have to mention this weekend! Although short, at least something...
...so...
...Mobby Dick in Fenda is the first 6a I managed to lead this saturday.
Althouth I am still a bit far from redpointing it... I am on the right way!
On sunday, we spent a relaxing afternoon in Guia with Vladimir and Andre. And we finished the day with a great moonclimb of Taxi (well... it is a 6b... so I did just the easy lower part ;)

Last V+ in Fenda
Looks like I ran out of easy routes in Fenda...
now I really need to start climbing 6a's ;)
Well, I went to Guia again on Saturday... but there I Redpointed (flash) just a IV and IV+ I guess. The V and V+ were both toprope (or was it just the last one?)
And then, in Fenda, I returned to the very first overhanging route I ever tried (toprope): Jardim da Celeste... and I Redpointed it on the first try!
Hard work it was.
Nice day.

Vacation postponed
Luckily, I had some logistic troubles... so I am going back to Czech republic only tomorrow... ;)
Why luckily? 'cos I spent an amazing saturday in Peniche with traditional climbers and then I onsighted one and redpointed another IV route in Reguengo.
And now, finaly, my holiday!
(hopefully, in the end of the month, there will be some photos from Peniche to put here...)

My first V+
Finally I did it!
I redpointed "Abre as pernas e avia-te" in Fenda!
Thanks to Miquelinho who belayed me in the end of the day (and also on one V route before ;)
...so great... now I can really have a peacefull month of vacation in my country ;)
And on Sunday... I went to Mecca... a bouldering place in Sintra... a beautifull place. It was one of these splendid sunny days with cotton-like clouds scattered over the sky.
I did there one boulder "Adherencia V"(I was too week for the other V boulder...), and I also embraced few other rocks... got many scratches... one "steak" in my finger, another on my heel (on the way back), so now I cannot put on the climbing shoes an have to work on final projects ;-)

Guia again
Yesterday...
...we went there in the afternoon and I managed to lead two routes... (Asterix IV and Directa IV+).
Although it was my second day leading (yeah... last time it was in Fenda, two weeks ago, althought I have not mentioned it), I did not feel very shure there ;)
And I am having so much work with final projects now... :(

Rainy weekend
I am sure, you know it... all the weekdays are sunny and when it comes to weekend: rain, rain, rain.
And if doesn't rain (like on Saturday), then a lot of sea humidity comes together with cold wind (like on Sunday)...

Santo Antonio
I think I like this saint...

...more holidays... more climbing... Yes please!

Day XI and XII
Yes... it was a month since I started and I managed to go ten times... nice statistics, isn't it?
And still (except for Guia), I haven't been to a same place twice.
So saturday, it was Azoia... very nice place... especially because it was sunny and we managed to climb in the shade.
On sunday, we went to a new place: Dentinho de Gatinho. Joao Gaspar and Miguel bolted two new routes for me and Teresa ;) Well... OK... it was not for us... but we were the first two to climb them.
If I say them... I start thinking of the names they gave them... Miau Miau and Estrela ca'dente? I think... something like that.

Saturday in Reguengo de Fetal
My Friends Miguel and Pedro went to Porto this weekend, so on the way there, we stopped near Fatima to climb a bit.
Luckily, the place is big (and old ;) enough to have some easy routes.
Unfortunatelly, it was a bit too hot (well... better than rainy, isn't it?) so we did not climb that much.

Rainy days
No climbing yesterday, althought I was looking forward so much.
At least I went to nice slideshow of a climber who spent six months in Southern America.
And it looks like no climbing tomorrow... Althought I am going to a climbing place.
Well... no routes for a newbie like me...

Sunady will save the week!

Two days in Guia
Yesterday and today I went to Escola Escalada da Guia with climber Kimie I met on sunday and with her students. Well... went is probably not the best word to describe it. I stopped by.
Although, I managed to climb one III route barefooted (oh silly me... ;) and toprope a IV+.
I fell a bit, so now I finally know what it is like.
Soooo tired... more info later, uhm?
=)
P.S. And there are some pictures in the gallery also... but as it was rainy all day, nothing special.

The Day III
Yesterday was my great day three ;)
Of course I am writing that because I went climbing again.
Rainy morning turn out to be another splendid day in Serra da Arrabida.
We went to Fenda, where I climbed three nice routes, and tried a bit more hard one in the end... all toprope, of course, I am a coward person, am I not? ;)
The first one I climbed was probably Quinto pirata. I am just guessing, but as it was pretty nice and this one is supposed to be the III+ difficulty... so it looks like a match.
The one I went to try then might had been Jardim da Celeste V+. My first overhanging route. Luckily, I was toprope, so I could had a rest few times... and in the end, I made it to the top!
My third one was called Abre as pernas e avia-te. I am pretty shure about the name, because it made others laugh a lot when they were translating it like "stretch-out your legs and do it". It was kind of high, but very nice. Although difficult (V+), I somehow managed. Happy me!
Well and then we went to the last sector, called Rampa, full of difficult routes. I was crying for an easy one so much, that Miguel put some expresses to one route... it looks like, it was called Bad boy, but other climbers kept telling me, that the name is something like "Nice girls don't climb". Well, that can make me feel good, as I might be a nice girl: although it was supposed to be "just" 6b+, I did not get not even to the half. But I tried... take a look:
...more pictures will be in my gallery later on.
By the way, if you want to search for Fenda on internet, try searchin also for Portinho da Arrábida. And try also Crocodilos... looks like only local climbers call that beautifull sector Rampa.

Have to start
So many things started to happen so far from my family and friends...
...and this seems to be a nice way of letting them know.
I just need to start, don't I?
